A Letter from Gudmoney
Gudmoney

Dear friend,

Have you ever opened the Swiggy app at midnight, ordered biryani, and then realised it was the third one this week? Maybe Blinkit showed up with snacks faster than your self-control, while UPI pings keep playing hide-and-seek with your memory. Add in a Zomato binge or two, plus a blur of UPI spending on chai, cabs, and "Bro, I'll pay you back soon" moments… and suddenly your money has vanished into thin air.

We know that feeling. That's why we built Gudmoney. Not to lecture you, not to guilt-trip you, but to give you a simple, friendly way to note what you spent. Just send us a WhatsApp message in your own words - "200 on Zomato dinner", "500 cab to airport", "chai ₹30" - and it's logged. No forms to fill, no apps to open every night.

We start with WhatsApp because it's where we already live our digital lives, and typing feels natural. Over time, we'll also support a web app and a mobile app for those who like dashboards, but the soul of Gudmoney will always be lightweight, conversational, and easy.

And in the future, we see Gudmoney making life smoother in all kinds of ways: couples keeping track of shared household spending without awkward "you owe me" chats, singles setting aside weekend budgets without losing track, and groups of friends splitting expenses on that Goa trip where memories last forever but receipts usually don't.

We are not a bank. We don't offer loans, credit, insurance, or investments. We don't want your PAN or Aadhaar. All we want is to make expense tracking feel lighter, calmer, and maybe even a little fun.

With warmth,
Team Gudmoney ❤️
